We provide age-appropriate and hassle-free leadership programmes, designed by qualified teachers in partnership with industry experts and approved by students and senior school leaders.
Â
We provide more than just inspirational talks from diverse leaders. With their support, our programmes use leadership as a tool to train students to lead themselves, others and tasks effectively. We believe that leadership should be explicitly understood, learned and practised by all. Â Â
Our programmes and network of diverse leaders help support the delivery of Gatsby Benchmarks 3, 4 and 5 in schools and enable students to make well-informed GCSE and post-16 choices.
Â
Cultural awareness and appreciation of different cultures is at the heart of every programme we deliver. Our diverse leaders possess the unique ability to inspire and empower by sharing their lived experiences in a way that speaks to the needs, challenges, values, traditions and beliefs of students.
"We are very pleased with Diverse Leaders Network. It's been a great opportunity for our students to learn leadership skills and apply them in their lives. Leadership Education should be part of the curriculum. It is as important as Science, Maths, and English."
"Fantastic premise, brilliantly organised and exceptional impact. Could not be more impressed with the impact this has had on my students."
"A fantastic programme that was well organised. Very beautifully managed. The students were well trained and proved everybody can be a leader if given the skills."
"This is something I think every student needs. These leadership programmes are CORE to everything. They are the foundation of what we do and who the students become. It helps individuals to make course directions and proactive decisions, which change their lives for the better whilst they are in a stage of life which is most effective to do so."
Leadership is not just a skill. It’s a mindset underpinned by our principles. If our mindset is fixed and our principles are undefined, skills will take longer to develop, be harder to transfer and never reach their full potential. Therefore, the likelihood of giving up is greater.
In order to build true resilience in our young people and prepare them adequately for life and work in the 21st century, it is paramount that leadership in schools is not reserved for a few but explicitly taught to all.
Our Leadership Skills Framework has been designed to turn every student into a leader by developing a growth leadership mindset, three core principles and six essential skills.
